Honesdale area (~13 miles south of Rileyville corner):
Fife and Drum Motel: 100 Terrace St.; 570-253-1392. Rooms with two double beds are $79 plus tax. No breakfast. Not highly recommended.
Grandview Motel: Located on Rte 6 south; 570-253-4744. They have a variety of twins and doubles. Average price is $47.70 per night. No breakfast. There is one room with a little kitchenette and an apartment that can sleep four at $84.80. In Mimi's opinion it's the nicest motel in the area.
Harvest Inn B&B: 1415 Main St., Honesdale; 570-253-4533. $95/night, $105/family of four/night
Comfort Inn: The closest sort of traditional hotel is a Comfort Inn just north of Rte 84 on Rte 191. Meal facilities are next door.
Rileyville corner area:
The John Riley House: This guest house is just minutes from Rose Lake! The house currently has three guest rooms. It is the large house on the left side of Rte 371, between Rte 191 and Doherty Road. The price is $65 per night. Contact Penny at 570-251-8873.Willow Pond B&B: ~5 miles south of Rileyville corner; 570-253-3930. Rates are $80/night with a two night minimum.
